Raise for Rainbows!

To celebrate our 5th birthday as a registered charity, we are launching our BIGGEST fundraising campaign yet – Raise for Rainbows!

With this campaign, we are encouraging people to raise funds to put a stock of our pregnancy after loss comfort boxes into one of the NHS units on our waiting list:

Raise £330 to fund 25 boxes or raise £430 to fund 50 boxes (this includes postage!)

Why?

Our comfort boxes for families pregnant after loss are essentially a toolbox to help through the pregnancy after loss journey. We have tools such as:

An A5 journal and pen – for logging all those thoughts/appointments/feelings.

Hope and Support card deck – a pack of 9 cards with mindfulness techniques and positive affirmations – created with an NHS Occupational Therapist with lived experience of loss and also a team of Clinical Psychologists at ‘The Kind Mind.’

Information leaflets from other organisations.

An A5 rainbow print.

A5 colouring page with pencils.

Crochet kit.

Business card resource to show healthcare professionals you’re pregnant after loss.

A signposting leaflet to our resource online for dads and other parents in pregnancy after loss.

We have had lovely feedback from those who have had their boxes directly from us and also from the hospitals that have received limited stocks from us. We have a growing interest from NHS maternity units, rainbow clinics and perinatal mental health teams – and we want to raise funds through this campaign to help supply boxes to some of these units.

How?

You could do anything really! Here are some ideas:

When?

This campaign launches on 5th December 2024 and is ongoing! You can do your fundraising at any time – just make sure you let us know at least 1 week before (details of how to submit funds in our fundraising policy available by email).
